for last two decades the society has changed its value system to a significant extent. one of the values in this regard has been 'honesty'. from tolerating the corruption, it began to facilitate and then celebrate the corrupt practices. ill gotten wealth brings not only the comforts money can buy but also the place in social strata without any admonishment from moral order. there is a chance honesty, once regarded an universal value loosing the status of a preferred value itself. what to say of practices prevalent.
the current movement is a first in Indian history where non political figures are heading a campaign demanding change in style of governance and creation of effective deterrence against corruption. the support this movement has generated itself is an achievement.. this support means that honesty is being re established as a value in society..WHEN HONEST ARE SEEN TO BE INSANE, this sensitization is in itself a great achievement.
HISTORY IS WITNESS TO CHANGES. ONCE MOST CORRUPT SOCIETIES AND/OR GOVERNANCE MECHANISMS HAVE CHANGED AND VICE-VERSE.. WE SHALL ALSO...... MAY THE VIRUS CATCH WHOLE THE NATION.
